Scorpion RS192 vs ktec super sport (quiet)

Hey guys.

My 182 currently has the quiet ktec super sport system on it... Im considering replacing it with either a prospeed system or the scorpion rs192 system..


Can anyone tell me if the rs192 will be louder and have more grunt than my current system??

Its very difficult to tell in videos and heard the scorpion is still quiet so dont want to swap my current system for one just as muted..

If you want big noise you need to decat or go for a sports cat.

Not after big noise just a bit more than the quiet hum on the ktec..

Considered chopping the silencer out of the current setup but might sound a bit boomy...

Remove the centre silencer and replace it for the straight through pipe

Did try searching if itd been done but found nothing... anyone know of someone thats done it?

im guessing that if you cut the centre section out it will be the same sound as the unsilenced ktec super sport, do a youtube search for a video which will let you hear what it will sound like

Most probably good point. Had a look though and all bar one video ive found are also decatted so hard to tell how itd be..dammm

Did you have it without decat atalll bro? Wondering if itll have more rumble than my ktec..eg be nice to have some burble when in gear engine braking.

thats how i had my exhaust for a while stupidly loud to be honest i think the without the center silencer it stops the ktec stealth sounding like a wet fart and also i noticed with the decat and straight through center section it seemed to lose the drone at about 65-70mph on the motorway.

I can only imagine it would be very quiet without the decat. Probably not far off standard noise wise.

Prefer the scorpion looks wise to my current setup but feels like a waste if I won't get any extra noisseee...and if the ktec gets boomy without the center silencer I'll be a bit gutted.. Tricky one!
