Personally I'd save up and get one of the detailers on here to do a full correction!

Most scratch remover products are pish to be honest

ive used megs scratch x.....dont rate it at all didn't seem to do anything with a machine or by hand

Your not using it right. I got this mark out of my Gran's Civic with it no bother.

^^ needs working A LOT!!

to be fair i worked and worked and worked by hand but couldn't get a good result might have another go soon though once i get some more srp

***** and holy s**t how are using it to get that sort of scratch out lol????????

'scratches' like the one in that picture are easy to get out - that's just paint transfer, from having rubbed against something painted white

if it's a true scratch (ie. has cut into the surface of the paint), the only ways of sorting it are by either adding paint and levelling the surface, or by lowering the surface of the surrounding paint so that it's at the lower level of the bottom of the scratch (if that makes sense)

if the scratch is of any decent depth, you've had it. you can often soften the severity of the appearance of a deep scratch using a machine polisher, but you'll be at it for hours by hand

t'is a satisfying relief, taking something like that out, as they tend to look quite bad.

everyone turns and runs whenever it's mentioned, but original formula T-Cut's about as good as it gets by hand

ill give the megs another go...(think we hijacked someone else thread lol) mine hasn't got that many scratchs going to get a decent machine polisher soon and do that see if it makes much difference
