After leaving my car for for a few hours and then driving it again I get a strange screech from the engine. This happens only when it is under load over 2k rpm, around about when the turbo winds up. It goes after a few moments of driving, although takes a bit longer to go on a warm day. Once the engine is warm it goes and you can hear the normal sound of the turbo.
I have taken it to a dealer but at the time they were unwiling to take it in to test the next day. The bloke explained it was the normal sound of the turbo that i was not to. I tried to explain it wasn't a normal sound but he wouldn't have any of it.
So I am asking here to see if anyone can confirm my turbo theory and if anyone else has had it.
The engine is the 1.2 TCE.
