Screen Wash Bottle smells

My screen wash bottle really stinks of stagnant water even though i've used really good brand screen wash in there. Is there any way i can get the bottle out to clean it, or if not is there anything i can put in it to stop it stinking so much?

thanks! the smell comes through the air vents whenever i pull away or if i spray the windscreen. Can't really escape it. :-(

could you not keep over filling it with soapy water? letting it overflow and mayb take the stench with it?
