SD cards....

After a 2gb one... any suggestions to which is best - its for a 6mp ixus

so far i have these to compare:

Sandisk Extreme III
Sandisk Ultra II
Integral high speed (80x)

any other suggestions? or anything cheaper? As long as it matches the camera speed it does not matter!!

To be honest you wont see a massive difference. Sandisk are usually VERY fast.

Why a 2gb? You can get a 4gb for about £40.

Are those integral ones the ones on 7dayshop?

I wasn't sure if the "high transfer speed" referred just top downloading off them or writing to them when taking photos?

The speed usually refers to the access / write time.

on 7dayshop they have one that's 80x and one that's 133x, but I can't remember if they're integral now lol

i find a cheapo mmc card is better in my ixus 65 than my datawrite 2gb sd card:S

the 133x speed one on 7dayshop is made by dane elec, theyve had a lot of trouble with data corrupting, get the sandisk ultra II plenty enough speed for the ixus, the extreme range is more for dslr iirc
