Seat changing question

Im thinking of getting bucket seats for my renault clio authentique 8v 2005, and was wondering about when taking the old seats out will there be problems with side airbags as i am not sure what i am doing

You will need to put resistors in the connectors once removed.

resistors are 3.9 and are about 50p each to buy...

As you can tell i am clueless at the minute to many things about changing seats, i dont want to be too much trouble but could you explain what a resistor is and where/how it goes?
