seat runners and key fob

whats the easiest way to swop the seat runner from another clio onto a 172 with it having airbags etc - as the passenger seat keeps sliding forward, renault has told me that theres normally a plastic clip that slides in anyone have any ideas on this?


any ideas why the key fob keeps draining the battery ?

exactly what problems are you having with the key/car

well now have to unlock the car manually with the key in the door, i only put a new battery in it 2 weeks ago!!!

runner can be changed easily enough, there should be a plastic runner with what looks to be a lead weight on which locates the reclining position back - expect to pay upto 20 quid from a scrappers yard - usually any 3 rd clio II will do altho when i swapped mine the replacement didnt have the clip at the front which holds the seat forward when reclined
