Security Pedal Clamp Lock

Car  Renaultsport Clio 182 ff
hi,

just wondering if this would create any interest...
friend of mine has been making these for transits, mercedes vans etc. Selling very well.
He has now made one for a 182 / 172 Clio. (guess would fit most clios)

made from 6mm carbon steel (welded) painted yellow
2 part (needs brass heavy duty snaplock) fitted at lower part so cant be cut off
fitted in under 15 seconds / fitted over two pedals

no point fitting it for just nipping to the papershop, more like for leaving the car in a car park, or hotel car park etc etc

can pm me, anymore details required...
cheers

forgot to say lower part goes on first,
then top part,
then click the brass padlock together... (not supplied)

Looks a not bad idea ;)

But wouldn't more people look at it if you can get it insurance approved by someone like Thatcham ?

Then ou can sell it as being insurance approved etc etc.

Or will that cost too much ?

P.s Whats with you floor mats ?

They look a bit chav :(

Good idea but it won't act a a visual deterent to thieves which you get with steering locks. I've always find after a while you never bother fitting them.

what do you mean wont act as a visual deterent, why's that, as soon as you look in the window you can see the bright yellow metal!

cheers for all your feedback, he sells loads at least 2 a week, for transits, so was just a thought.... all hand made by him.
