seems like theres slack in my steering ??

Has anyone had a problem where there feels like theres some slack in the steering ?? when im going in a straight line and i turn the wheel theres a slight deley from when u turn the whell to when the wheels turn in that direction ??
Ive had the tracking done and 2 new tyres but this hasnt fixed the problem.
Any ideas
