Selling a v1 Iphone

Hello all,

Is there any complications to selling an iPhone v1? Obviously it's tied to your 02 contract, but you can restore the iPhone and then update the firmware to v2.0.1, and make it appear to be a new phone ready to sell?

A buyer would be able to pick it up and use it as if it was new wouldn't he?

Yes, no problem at all selling it although any new owner will need to activate and unlock it unless they plan on using a iPhone tariff.

No issues, just out of kindness id PWN it for them before i sold it.

Yeah I'd do that and update it to v2.0.1. Hopefully get some more money for it that way!
