I now realise this and see the error of my ways.
Think I am going for a 4" backing plate, a set of 4" pads, Menzerna sample set and maybe treat myself to a new mf cloth.
I am a little apprehensive of starting now.... just thinking of what a long day it will be. Think I might just do the interior plastics and leather tonight then polish next weekend, although will practice on the Golf first before doing mine. Party time!!

I resited getting the PC on mine today, been 8 months since I polished it! In the end addressed some minor marks with Menerna Final Finish PO106FF cant believe how well this works even by hand. Just going to do the whole car with this and polishing pad in the next month or so.

Yeh can't imagine I will need to PC very often, mine hasn't been done since... well ever (just over 3 years now) and looks mint, considering its done 33k miles (a couple of minor chips but no scratches or alloy marks), my previous car never had it done either. But, I am looking forward to getting rid of the swirls 100%. Can't do it this weekend though as don't have the polish or transformer yet, or the 4" pads either. You know me - don't like to rush these things!
While its nice out quite tempted just to give a little interior clean, do the wheels and do the paint next week. Tonight is time for some cheeky Coronas in the sun!
