Just seen its on xbox 360, ecounters 1+2 in HD. I can remember this being a really fun game back in the day. Is it worth buying now? or will it be poo? Fed up with black ops now.

Lolz - Steam had it for around £4 the other month. That's when I got them for PC.

Iirc, SS1 still has the largest end-game boss of any FPS made...

Lol - my nephew didn't quite 'get' the whole Serious Sam thing when I launched the HD version on the PC at the weekend. He said "I don't get it - it's stupid"......... exactly!!!

Shame he's not old enough to remember the impact the original Doom had back in the day. Easily on par (if not surpassing) what Half-Life achieved on release.

Yeh it was just good mindless fun. I used to like the enemies which had no head and bombs for hands and ran towards you. The weapons were cool too!

Used to end up with a sore hand after playing for an hour, finger was constantly holding down the fire button.

They have the HD pack with the first and second encounter currently up for £5.49. Can't complain at a fiver for two quite fun games.
