Service, ABS and Traction Control lights coming on!? 2004 172 Sport

Hi, I recently had some new pads and disc put on my car and prior to that have had no problems with it.

About a week after fitting them I had to brake quite hard to avoid a car and then later in the day when I was driving I noticed the ABS, Service and Traction Control (when you switch it off) lights were on.

I couldn't notice any problem with the car and when I stopped and started the engine they went away.

Since then it's happened again a few times. I've spoken to a Renault dealership and they've said that although my car is under an extended Renault Warranty they would need to charge me £79 for initial diagnostics if it turns out not to be a warranty issue....

Can anyone think what this might be?? Or has anyone seen this before.

I wish I had a copy of that diagnostics software myself! lol

I had this over the weekend after changing my cambelt. But it went away and not returned yet.

Really, that's interesting. I changed the exhaust recently aswell.

I might just ignore it for a bit and see if it goes away....

See if I can get a copy of the diagnostic software and have a look myself....

mines has done the same but when i kill the engine and start it up again it's fine it might be germlins in the ecu
