Servicing Variations !!

Got my 24,000 mile service coming up on my 182 so started phoning around. Noticed that a lot of places like K-Tec, GDI etc... do servicing for around £150 which is where I would def go if I wasnt so far north.

Anyway, went to my nearest renault dealer (sighthill,edinburgh) and they wanted £320 !! and they usually screw everything up they touch. Then decided to go to the other dealer (Seafield) which is run by the same company (Reg Vardy) and they came up with £205 !!! Which seems a very good price. I even double checked that that was for a 182 2.0 etc... and he said yep, 172 or 182 is 205 for the 12 & 24 and went through a list of what was to be done.

How can dealerships vary thier costs so much even when they are run by the same company? Rip offs !!!

P.S. Got the service manager to write that price down and sign it lol :rasp:

Exactly the same situation with these two when I bought my 182 and later when sourcing Mrs yee_har's Campus Sport.
Sighthill's attitude was bordering on the insulting - politely let them know I'd done a bit of research and was looking for best price on a straight cash deal and they quoted me book. Oh well...

i just had my 12,000 mile service done on 182 that cost £201 from renault at first they said £225 but when i went to pay they said £201 so i just paid that and left
