Shaking through the steering wheel, car pulls to the left

  Not a 320d
At about 60 ish, and it goes away at 80.

Shaking through the steering column. I seem to remember it starting when the snow was here, maybe I hit a pothole and buckled the wheel or maybe my suspension is fucked?

Also, my car pulls to the left.

Car is on coilovers. Still did it after having new tyres fitted, wheels re ballanced, allignment and camber done. Recently had a new gearbox fitted so I had to wind up the coilovers for it to get on the ramps, so ill need a new geo setup doing. Maybe thats why it pulls to one side?

Maybe my tyre pressures are wrong? I run 33.5 in the fronts and 31 at the rear after spending a few weeks faffing about with them.

My suspension looks fine. Springs are in tact.

Any ideas what it might be please its starting to piss me off. :(

Nice. Any easy way of checking?

Someone mentioned trackrods and ball joints.

Ive still to get the geometry setup again as I rased it back up. It couldnt be something as simple as tyre pressures or geometry could it? My coilovers appear to be fine. Although they have taken a hammering over the winter.

You're telling me that someone done the alignment and it's still pulling?

I'd drive the f**king car through the workshop window!

Are they retards? That's the whole point of alignment ffs! I'm going to take a stab and say you have set back on your lefthand side and you'll need a track rod+end and a lower wishbone (lower track control arm)

I wouldn't be surprised if the wheels has a flat spot on it either.

I don't actually know but I would use a google search of "how to check a ball joint on a car" would tell you, that's what I do when terms I don't know come up if I need to sort it.

If not buy a Haynes manual they help as well

They did and I recall it was fine, but since had the coilovers up and down.

The shaking was there before it was ever set up though.

Ill look into this. Still got a "free health checkup" at renault so might ask them to have a look at this. IM guessing itll be an expensive job then?

Oh and BTW.

At low speeds theres a knocking I can hear.

Say im going in a straight line, I can hear a bumping sound, its faint, but enough to piss me off. Not sure if Its suspension related as if im going down a smooth road I can hear it.

The clearer of the 2 photos is the passenger front. Which is where the bumping is coming from. The 2nd blurry photo is the driver front. Comparing the two, I think the boot on the passenger side looks a little flatter, no grease leaking out of it though. I guess ill have to jack it up and take a look to see if theres any play in the wheel then. Someone mentioned using a crowbar somewhere to test it?

  2.2 bar shed.
Just shake the f**k out of the wheel, if theres any play then you've got a bearing on the way out or the hub nuts not tight enough.

Drivers side anti roll bar link/thing has play in it.

But that doesnt explain the knocking on the passenger side front does it?
