Short engine rebuild options.

High comp all steel Engine rebuild for a compeition car:

• Are there any better options other than OEM parts for all of the short engine bearings?
• Are alternatives even worth considering (as OEM are up to the job)?
• Any other changes that should be considered at this point (parts wise only); oil pump for example? (Balancing / ARP bolts already on list.)

ACL bearings (Australian) are good! Stock are also fine

definitely have balancing done, and definitely use a new oil pump
