Short shifter anybody fited one!

I am thinking about fitting a short shifter! 172 cup as it feels like changing gear in a wagon its that long Lol! If you have fitted one what do you think of it and what make is it! as I want one! and don't want to waste £ on crap item!

I dont have one but i have been in a car that does have one and its a big difference over standard. If you do a fair bit of serious driving then its worth getting one, there's a group buy going on with Ktec at the moment i think??

I got mine from the k-tec group buy, well worth the money. Makes a huge difference to shifting. Not too hard to fit either

I got mine from MBPerformance, the people that designed the shift that Ktec do, its an awesome bit of kit and really well made. Not sure on the Ktec one as its using a stolen design but im sure its nearly as good.

feels good to use not going to make your gearchange any quicker though as you can already rush the box too much on the standard gearstick if you dont watch what ur doing with it ull destroy the syncros

Just want it to feel better my Subaru was about 2" in between gear shifts! so the cup feels like I am in a wagon when changing gear! I think RS could of put a bit more effort in to the Gear Shift :S
