How did u do it?

its called a EL scanner made by Varad, they are better known for making underlighting kits neons and such, which really isn`t my thing but i love these, they used to be sold in the uk but not sure if they do now, bought this on ebay last week for £12

just sticks to the inside of the window, comes with three wires, the red wires goes to a 12v constant positive supply. i used the wire that goes to boot light, black wire obviously goes to the negative earth, found a nut under the rear seats, and the yellow wire goes to either a switch or like i did just wire it up to the alarm!! job done!!!

total cost £12
total time to fit 45 minutes!!!

just google search `varad el scanner` you can still buy them in the states for 39 dollars (about 20 quid) or like i did just keep an eye out on ebay

just so happens they are perfect size to go with the cliosport sticker and they come in 4 different colours

how long does it stay on after u've armed the alarm? or does it stay on till alarm is unarmed?

stays on til its unarmed, only uses the same amount of juice from a battery that a normal little red led uses that everyone has in there car for the standard alarm

has 5 different flashing patterns and 2 different speeds

Would look good if it just went through a second or two of flashing when the car was locked or unlocked.

If that flashes whilst the car is locked (if thats what if does) it will attract unwanted attention... IMO of course.

Still, Its different, So good effort.
