Should i change aux tensioner . . . .

  172 cup
been reading a few cam belt posts and noticed a lot of you have aux tensioner done at same time as cam belt. going to be doing cam belt soon. Was just wondering if i should change aux tensioner at the same time. Its her first belt change at 35k on the clock so could i just do aux belt?

is this just a caution thing or are they prone to seizing up

How do the tensioner's seize up btw?

I'm sure some of you have seen the craic in Mikeyk18's thread in the Dealers section regarding cam & aux belt change. - Renault are claiming his aux tensioner is seized.

Im guessing its the tensioning side of it that seizes after not being ajusted for 4-5 years. The pulley itself im sure will turn freely
