Should I de-cat the Yozza?

Hi guys, I have a Yozza on my 182 (see link below).

The MOT is due in may so ime half tempted to de-cat it once the MOT is done.

Now Ive listened to a few on youtube and they do sound nicer without the cat.

If you have one/have had one, whats your opinions on the noice level increase in the cabin? Also does it affect the MPG too?

Thanks.

P.s. - my current sound ;)

No. Fair bit louder inside, and you're possibly on a sticky wicket with your insurance. Also, be careful if you do trackdays. My yozza 172 system wouldn't get on at Bedford with a decat.

i wouldn't either.
just too loud! and hassle for mot and should you have an accident, no cover ect...

the gains are not exactly huge with a decat on a clio. the 182 cat is a 200 cell anyway so its pretty much a sports cat. the only thing de-catting does is give you a headache.

im sure there will be a lot of people on here saying decat it tho.

one word..... YES!

i guess its down to personal preference but imo the yozza sport exhaust with decat sounds incredible! pops and is so raspy

= winner!
