Whether they give any increase in bhp is debatable , eve if they do it wouldn't bevery much so you won't see a massive increase in performance . If you want it to make a nice noise then go for it . I've just fitted a k+n apollo today , sounds sweet

I wouldn't say they are rubbish . You just won't get massive gains like people hope or believe and like the manufacturers would like you to believe .

At the end of the day the 182 obviously has 10bhp more than the 172 , and the 182 is only slightly faster than the 172

And one for exhausts too! Just have a stickied article for breathing mods split into different budgets i.e. IK's upto say £60, £60-£200 and £200+ and a similar breakdown for exhuasts. It does my nut in seeing the same old sh1t everyday when all people need to do is click the search button and be overwhelmed with the number of topics available, that all pretty much reach the same conclusion.

If you ask similar sorts of questions on the 205 gti forum you'll get one reply with a one word answer which will be "search"

Agree but what would there be to talk about if the induction threads were banished?
