Should I keep my RsTuner?

After installing the 98ron map onto my 1*2 is there any need keeping the tuner? Even if i uninstalled the map the ecu is still locked to the device if i'm correct and is therefore traceable if someone could be bothered to look hard enough? Only asking as its potentially a bit of funding thats currently just sitting around! Cheers lads

If you are desperate for the money then sell, but they are a useful diagnostic tool if any error codes pop up, personally I would just sell when getting rid of the car.

Good point. Any experience with the pops and bangs map? or is it more of a novelty for about 10 minutes?
