seriously thinking about selling my cup. its on finance and costing me a fortune every month in payments. ideally would like to then buy a williams. eves would be nice. obviously its an older car and more things likely to go wrong but if i sell the car should have enough equity to afford a williams without a loan so wouldnt have that expense. had a 16v clio before the cup and to be honest i preferred the looks of it and nicer to drive. the cup just hasnt hit the spot like the valver did. still a great car though. had it just over a year bought it new. what should i do?????

yeah i pmd her/him but doesnt have enough cash to give me for what i want for the cup. shame as its a minter. love the look of the williams. looks much nicer than the new shape clio imo. i used to get loads of looks in the 16v dont get the same in the cup.

its a 03 plate, 7000mls, lowered, full magnex, itg panel filter, mint apart from couple of scuffs on alloys. reckon about £9500?

I have (fingers crossed) just sealed a deal on an 52 plate with 12400 on the clock for 8900 at a dealer, complete minter as well, is this a good price?

Ive had both the Willy and the Ragnotti. I prefer the styling of the older car myself, as well as the lighter weight, but recognise the advantages of a car that is ten years newer. No worries about corrosion or what may have happened to the car under the previous owners care or lack thereof.

The price of the Willy reflects its rarity whlilst the Cup is a relative bargain for a new car. Figure out the hit you will take in depreciation before you flog the Cup. It may make sense to keep it.

Another thought: Sometimes it is good to have paid off a car loan over time. It builds your credit rating and can be a big help when it comes to getting approved for a mortgage in the future. Just another way of justifying the expense...

Good advice^^

Also be aware that a modded car (exhaust and lowered) will be worth less than a standard model, you certainly will not get your money back that you paid on mods.

Most people, but not all, would rather buy a standard car that a modded one, as in most peoples eyes it has a better chance of not being thrashed (im sure yours has not been though!)

You are more than likely gonna loose a bit of money on selling the Cup, be prepared!

i have just upgraded from a 1.2 dynamique 51 plate to a 172 53 plate i only had the 1.2 for 7 mths it was just to flat, i paid £4800 and only got £3700 px and paid £10,000 for the 172 so becareful u will loose money! :(
