Hi. I currently own a 1.4 Clio which I really like but my only gripe is that it is 5 doors. Ok convenient and not too different but tbh I prefer the looks of a 3 door and dont really want to do too much more to this car as its 5 doors.

Ive been looking around and noticed the Clio Rsi which has a 1.8 8v Mpi injection engine under the bonnet and is a 3dr. The price of them is in my price range for a decent model and Insurance for next year with Pass Plus is £780 pounds (or there abouts).

But im just wondering if you people think it is worth getting a new car even if I may only keep it for a year?.

Any input would be appreciated.

weld up the rear doors, de handle, put front reclining seats in, problem solved.

id got for a valver mate! 1.8 16v, but quite a big difference and they look much better!

i tend to only keep cars for a year anyway.

Lol @ weld the rear doors up. i comsidered it. Lol

Could maybe get my dad 2 convert it to a 3 door, but isnt worth it an would be very time consuming.

I will porbabloy keep the Rsi for 2 years build up some no claims.

hehe was just jokin.. anyway seriously.. how about dehandling the rear doors? i know its still a 5 door, but it looks like a 3 door and is more practical. Just a thought
