Evening folks, just a quick one, I own both, 1.2 dynamo "52" and the 182 cup "05". Last weekend just changed the pads, disks, fluid (halfords finest 5.1 higher boiling point) on the 1.2 at 73k third set of pads, checked the rear end OK (don't forget to use new nuts). The interesting part is on the cup I nearly mashed it at 2k miles with the brakes, from a thee figure speed on a empty dual road, the brakes were poor compared to the shopping trolley, but I found that after a few hard braking stunts they were every bit and better than the 1.2, they just need to be warmed up a touch. At the moment it has Brembo disks, blue pads, braided hoses, better fluid, they are usable on the road, but they squeek like blazes. It is a trackday setup (different wheels, tyres of course) the blue pads are track dedicated, they function well when the standard pads would have expired long since. Does this help at all?
cheers
