The wifes pug 106 xnd is on its way out. Weve got 3,500 to play with so ive suggested she gets a 172. She only likes the phase 2 172 in black. So was hopeing a few of you guys dont mind showing a few pictures of yours to help make her mind up.

lol, would be handy if there was a mcdonalds next door! Had another look on pistonheads last nite and can get a black three door megane dynamique 2.0l 16v (MK2) for about £3000-£3500. I think thats what she might go for. Abit more family orientated. Still like the having 2 '172's idea! But its her choice i suppose. :dapprove:

I know what you mean, but she doesn't want a big car! lol. She wants another hatch. So i think getting a megane is the best compromise. There is a mk2 1.4 dynamique going for £2500 she likes. Same interior as the 2.0l. Did one of those text hpi checks on her 106 yesterday. Came back as written off in 1998. Category C. With no record of vic check! Weve had that car for 4 years! No way am i letting her drive that around anymore now we have 2 kids! The 106 only has ncap 2 stars. So a cat c one would be certain death! lol. Depends on the level of repair work but without the vic check im not going to risk it. So rang the bank up and borrowed another £3000. To be honest she needed a new car. Lookin at pug 207 and audi a3 too.
