I await JD, gally or one of the other detailing whores to be along soon but my opinion is no I certainly wouldn't try washing my car with something like that, although it can be handy for other stuff like finishing off after a wax etc. I look at the products like that as having a similar use as something like megs last touch.

people are uneducated about washing cars. use a sponge and some fairy liquid and the jobs a good un!!
this is ok to use as a gloss type wax finish, but please no-one use it to wash their car!!!!

Lolz.

Just ordered mine......

I have about 3 full bottles of this in the garage! It is surprisingly good tbh. I used it on my old 1.2 Clio, back when I was uneducated about swirls etc.

Would dare use it to wash a car now.

My parents have a little MG TF convertible they keep in the garage, gets used about 10 times a year, its generally washed before tis put in there, then once every couple of weeks Dad will go over with this as it gets dusty. A posh QD

Did it actually leave behind swirls?

I used to use it all the time, I wouldn't use it to wash a car with but once washed properly it's very easy to use and gives a good finish.

I wouldn't personally use it now after seeing results from products such as AF triple etc, I think it's more aimed at the regular "sponge" car cleaner.. There is no way washing a car covered in grit / mud / grime with a spray on product and a microfibre cloth is going to end with a large amount of swirls inflicted.
