Driving home from work last night doing 90 on the M25 and my car stops accelerating! So my first though was that it has fell into neutral (Thats what it felt like) but it hadnt, so i coast it over to the hard shoulder. Call out the AA and he said my CAM belt had snapped and i wasnt going anywhere!!!!! So my poor old clio got towed home!

God knows how much damage i have done to the valves etc!

How must do you think it would set me back to get it all repaired?

Probably cheaest to get a 1.2 (or even a 1.4?!) engine from a breakers rather than paying to repaired your poor smashed up valves

i have had a quote from a back street garge of 200-300 depending on how many valves are f**ked
