Done a search but am still undecided on buying one, what sort of price would you pay for a 2nd hand one? seen em on ebay for around £320 mark? worth the money? cheers

I got the f4-5.6 for about £350 brand new, so i'd be expecting to pay well below £300. I've seen them go on TP for as little as £220.

Can't view the link as you have to be a member for 60 days is says. on amazon brand new is £355. they still seem rather steep on ebay at £315 then. Would you say it's worth the money?

I'd say its worth buying one, definitely.

For the sake of £40 I'd buy new, but thats just me.

Think mine was about £285 new - nearly 3 years ago mind you, filters about £35 for UV and £50 for a CPL

Has been dropped in Wales too, killed and brought back to life by Luton Camera repair. I love my 10-20mm

Not pretty. I tried my old Tokina 12-24 out to see if it was worth keeping, and the vignette up to 18mm was rediculous. It looked like one of those shitty screw on fish eye filters.

8mm? It has to be a lens that is designed for full frame though. the 10-20, 10-22 and 12-24 are all crop sensor lenses which results in the vignette.

10-22 is also EF-S. 16-35/ 17-40 or the Sigma 12-24 are all UWA on FF. The new variable fish eye looks like fun too but it hasn't been released yet.

The 8-15mmL fisheye is about the widest for FF isn't it.

That looks quite cool, but I don't see a place for it at over 1K, since its a very specialist lens.

The Sigma 12 - 24 is one of the widest rectilinear FF lenses around.
