silenced vs unsilenced decat

is there any performance difference between the 2? wasnt sure if the silenced one was more restrictive?

been looking at the k-tec ones but not sure what one to go for, is there a big difference in noise?

AFAIK there is no performance difference, the silenced one is still straight through just it is wrapped to try and reduce the noise. Here is a pic of the silenced k-tec one...

But it does change the "note" of the exhaust. With a normal de-cat I find the sound has a slight rasp to it when on the power. With the silenced model it makes it a deeper note.
