silencing my decat

i have a decat pipe, which, as i cant seem to find a buyer for am probably going to refit. What i need to do though, is make the thing quieter! So i have a few questions, can i just fit a bigger/more effiecient centre silencer? (all i have at the moment is basically a staight through pipe) if that will work, will it be detrimental to the performance increase i'll get by fitting the decat? and can anyone recomend anywhere that does custom exhuasts in the stourbridge/dudley area (not energized or LTC)?

Yes the centre box wud effect the performance, alldepends on how badly it is restricting it.

I have this very same problem....

the only thing i found that cud work is to have the decat made into a "sports cat"

Thsi is doable, uneed to buy the innerds of the sport cat which i beleive Lunner can get from jettex.

But you are looking at approx £150 !!! which i thaught was a bit steep.

Ill try and find out a bit more maybe we can get a bit of discount from somewhere :D

that would be fine if my decat wasnt just a straight through pipe :( i'd love to get the decat back on, but its just too loud with the setup i have at the moment. where is powerflow in kford??
