Hi Everyone , Just Been Looking At The Silicone Air Intake Hose For My Ph2 172 - ( Throttle Body To Air Box ) For £70 On Various Site's Are They Worth It / How Many Have Changed There's For The Plastic Bog Standard One's . . . . . ? Is There A Reason To Change It Over - Any Purpose . . . . ?

Pretty sure someone did a group buy for them for £55 or something..
Pretty sure they don't offer a performance advantage, just for looks mainly.

Don't buy forge motorsport ones as they collapse inwards at full throttle (seen it happen on two cars on the rollers)

samco is the best one to go for really PM timsmeganeR26 on here he can get them for a good price

just get a 90 degree silicone bend off ebay for £10.dont forget the oil breather afterwards though....have a look at my engine bay in clio media to see what I've done

The forge one is the same as the samco one and is thicker so wont collapse!

what is the diameter of the hose, is it 63mm or 70mm?

will this one be any good?
