Silicone Induction Hose

Looking to get a silicone replacement for the renault original part on my 93/K RSi to improve the air flow. Does anyone know what the diameter/length of the induction hose (between the filter and the engine/throttle) is? Has any one done this? It also has numerous (electrical?) connections to it would i have to incorporte these into the new hose or can they be made redundant?

Have you taken it off to have a look? Then you could just measure it and see what the connections are? More likely to be breather and idle valve pipes. I doubt theyre anything electrical but then again I havent seen your engine bay so who knows...
