Sill switch and Airbag comp

Will I need to replace the sill switch once the passanger seat air bag has been deployed. I have a new computer but will the switch be locked closed after impact meaning as soon as I plug in the computer the air bag will go off again?!

Well ive just fitted it and the lights are still on! Anyone?!

Doesn't have to be changed but sometimes is needed.
