Silly jacking question...

Jacking on a slope. I know generally you shouldn't, but if I could it would make my life much much easier.

The slope is as follows:

Too much, or is there a safe way of doing so?

I was going to go with ramps, but then I wouldn't be able to remove wheels, my road is quite busy, so can't really use that.

The bit nearest the window is flat, and when I let the car roll on to it, it will sit and not roll back all the way into the wall, without applying the handbrake.

I also thought about turning the car 90 degrees, would that work?

Thanks, Jack.

Come on man it's not rocket science. Haha. Jack it anyway you like. Chock the wheels with wood. It won't go anywhere. :)

Level the jack with wood (dependant on jack)and as above chock wheels. Once on axle stands it'll be alright.

It's silly questions I know, but I've never jacked on unlevel ground. I presume bring the end up that's down the slope to level with the side up the slope?

So as the car sits, chock the front wheels by the sills and lift the rear?

What are you trying to do....?

Jack up the end which is at the lowest point.. Chock the other wheels if you can ..

Edit: just seen the slope. Good lord man, just put it up in the air !

thats nothing compared to the slope i work on, i just use a brick under one of the tyres to stop it going anywhere

If working on the front, turn the car around so you can get it in the air more (so long as you have high enough axle stands) Handbrake on and chock back wheels if you really want to.
Oh and there really was no point in the spirit level, as we can't see the bubble lol.

If your jacks are all old and tall like mine you'll have to lift the rear to fit one under the front anyway.

Looks like its on standard springs to me, so I think he might get away with it. Could be wrong though.

Eibach Prolines, 10mm drop I think?

I'm using a low profile jack.

The spirit level was more for me than the picture, I wasn't sure if the picture would give a good indication of slope, but it does.

Just Jack it up. If it looks wobbly try something else. Only ever had a car drop off a tyre changing Jack and I was asking way too much of it.
