Silly MK1 fueling question

  Rb 182
Ok so i have had the Turbo on the road for a few days. Problem is its drinking so much fuel. £10 will get about 45 miles and thats off boost! **SHOCK**

Right when i plumbed in the turbo i uesd to pipes from the tank, the main and wwhat i think is the return line. I have checked for fuel leaks and i cant see any. But when i had the car on a ramp at work i found another line form the tank, it would have went to the carbon canister at the front bumper ( i have removed this) I have blocked this up as there was massive fuel vapor coming from it, but its still using as much fuel. I think i have messed up.

Whould the one that went to teh carbon canister be the return line?? Or i have i messed up some where else??

Much help required. :(

you should have two fuel pipes that connect to the rail ? return and feed

will check my manual tonight to see what is connected to the charcoal canister

Yes i have 2 going to the rail. The one coming from/to the carbin can i have blocked off, but before it have some heavy fuel vapour.

Its now blocked off, but is creating pressure in the tank. so when i open the fuel cap air/fuel vapour rushes out.
