Silver 172/82 With Stripes

My cars in today having strips put on it. Going to be a dark/grey metalic colour. Just having it on the bonnet, roof and boot at the min to see what its like.

Im sitting here at work having second thoughts, I really like the idea and i think the car is to silver and once a get some 182 wheels the strips will fit in quite well.

Has anyone got any pics of a silver sport with strips, i need to see if i have made the right decission.

what sort of stripes are we talking here? Thin lines which are off centre like on the Racing Blue 182 (Gordini Stripes) or are we on about chav max power racing stripes a la fiesta ST?

either way i'm not sure any stripes woulf look good on a silver car? my 182 is Silver and i wouldn't dream of putting stripes on her. i even opted against the Cup pack because i dont think the anthracite wheels look that good on Silver.

at the end of the day though, it's all down to personal opinion / preference so if you liek it then nothing else matters.

i've never seen the Gordini stripes on any colour other than racing blue - would be interesting to see how it looks.

ive just seen them on the blue, and i saw a black 182 with silver stripes a couple of weeks ago.

At the min i think my clios to silver.

The pics ive seen were of a 182 with anthracite wheels and the stripes done in black or dark grey.I think he had it nicked in the end.Shame

I think dark grey on silver will look nice, especially with anthracite wheels and possibly smoked side repeaters.

Yep im chuffed with them, makes the car look totally diff.

Will get pics up tomorrow! Just need some 182 wheels now, or powder coat mine.
