Silvervision!!!

Hey all looking to get some silvervision bulbs and found these but they look orange still does anyone know why?

Just get to Halfords and buy some Silvatech bulbs for a tenner a pair

Well the place local to me had them in! Three types, the offset ones, the ones with the pins opposite each other and ones for the side repeaters!

Ask to get them sent in from Trowbridge!

Number on the box is BU581S

the phillips sivervisions are not as silver as say, silvatechs. they do have a bit of an orange tint to them.

As above the Philips Silvervisions still have a hint of orange

so silvertecs are the better ones to get then. The halfords store nearest to me in Manchester is useless they dont know anything about cars in the slightest lol they have one fitter who is never in

Anyone got any good links for getting some silvertecs?

Be patient, every so often they appear in Lidl for £3 a pair. Or befriend someone who works for VW in the parts department and get them for free, like me!

Lol @ three for two, typical Halfauds. Yeah my car has six bulbs Be ok if you wanted a spare set though.

Lol Cat, it worked for me cos the deal was on for front, sides and rear.. but yeah I'm sure Halfords didn't really think about it much.

I asked a guy working there if they were in the deal and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "I guess so.." Service with a smile eh.

am i right in thinking that the silvervisions are more orange in colour and are a brighter more visible orange when they are on. and silvatecs are completely chrome/silver, and dont shine as orange???

Nah, they all make your indicators hard to see... especially in daylight.

I got Phillips silvertech in the front. Yes they still have the smallest of orange tint but when they flash on they are very bright. In my opinion much better built than the others.
