Im happy with mine too, makes it really roar around 6 to redline!
Yup, at about 4.5k the noise changes from a deep bellow to a nice screamy type noise (technical description there). Love it :evil:.

Maybe but proabably my imagination and the noise more than anything. Does seem a bit more free revving that it did with just a panel filter
where can i get one for my 1.2 16v?
i have checked ebay but guessing the 172 on wouldnt fit, although judging by my new "pull my car apart" skills think i could make it fit lol

Don't think you'd be able to fit one on the 1.2 as the inlet fanimold is completely different to the K4* engine.

I'm not sure you'll have the room really, that and the inlet tract will be getting awfully long. I'd stick with what you've got really, the 1.2 engine (i've had one) makes a completely different (reletively crappy) noise to the 1.4/1.6 so I don't think you'll get it sounding like mine.
That and the only place you can get the kit from want £150 for it now and thats a lot to be chopping it up really.

But the piping is a bit issue with the K4 series engine as the throttle body it at the back of the engine and then you need to sort the crankcase breather out.

There all listed as for the 1.4, its the same engine with a longer stroke to create the 1.6 capacity. The filter is more than capable for use with a 1.6.
