If your channels are all working fine, you might have to do a power off for an hour, then power back. Leave it to mess itself around for a while, then turn it on after about 10 minutes.

Usually works, failing that you'll have to format it...

4, 0, 1, Then hit select (you have to type these in quick succession, this will take you to the technicians menu). then do a planner rebuild this wont delete anything on the box

Can you play back anything you previously recorded? If not then your hard drive may have died. If so, this is the oppurunity you have been waiting for, throw a bigger one in there.

When you plug the power in or switch it on listen for the hd spinning up. If it doesn't its possibly dead or as said might need a planner rebuild/format.
