Reet just trying to sort TV out for uni.

Virgin isnt happening due to lack of fibre optics in the area.

Sooo we've gotta go Sky.

There is already a BT line in the flat but that has to be changed to our names (10 days) plus a charge then we have to pay £12.00 a month for line rental even though we dont want a phone.

The only reason we want the line is so Sky can put a box in etc.

We didnt have to pay it for Virgin so why with Sky makes no sense to me, you pay for something you dont use just so you can have something else.

Soooo whereas we'd rather Virgin where we'd get ESPN for free, guarenteed 20 meg we're for the same price going to have to have Sky with "upto" 10 meg and less channels.

f**king Joke. Anyone got any alternatives.

We have sky and don't have a Sky phone line. It isn't even connected to the phone line due to it being at the other end of the house.

you dont have to have a phone line for sky and virgin is not guarenteed 20 m i tell you this

Your Sky box(es) must be connected to a fixed telephone line for 12 months.

Unless there is someway around it?
