Slight Knocking noise when turning left but only when moving off

Any ideas?
if I start driving with the wheels turned left, there is a slight knocking noise from the front of the car, this goes as soon as I straighten up...annoying the s**t out of me.

I had the same turned out to be the ball joint....

Could be ball joints, top mounts or possibly some wear on the wishbones bushes.
I'd get it on a shaker plate at an MOT station to try and narrow it down, even if you eliminate some possibilities then it'll be fewer parts to try out.
