Sluggish Engine.

I'm running a 1.2 D4F i4 16v in my car. Engine is giving me some problems. Random engine stalls, Jerking between 2nd until 5th gear when under 3000rpm. The worst problem surfaced today, The car felt like it was running with only 3 cylinders. Went to the service center and they said it was the sparkplug coils or was is it the ignition coil? not really quite sure. Only thing I can say is that the car is just running really slow. Can someone shed some light on this? Any help would be appreciated.

change the tdc sensor, coil pack and get some new plugs (if you wanted) and it'll be sorted for the tdc sensor and coil pack its about £50 from gsf and takes about 10 mins to do yourself

Is this the coil pack your refering to? Is there a reason why this particular part is prone to dmg?

yup thats the coil pack, Always go wrong on the 1.2 16v's for some reason edde or brian will tell you soon probably, as does the tdc sensor

Is there another way to Fix it without replacing? The coil pack here cost well over 100 pounds or around Rm700. Or does it depend on how extensive the dmg is? Do you have a link to the gsf site?
