Small Sub - Clio 182

Can anyone recommend a brand or company that sell good quality Subs that aren't too big and could possibly fit under the seat? Or does anyone recommend a certain place that the Sub should go?

It also needs to be compatible with the original factory head unit...

I installed an underseat sub last week using this thread as inspiration:

Comes with all the cables (apart from RCA leads) and fits perfectly under the passenger seat, so there's no need to bolt it down.

The only thing I did differently was to install the amp in the passenger footwell. And keep the controls under the seat in a cubby hole next to the sub (which also fits perfectly).

Sound quality in the car is now 1000x better, still using factory speakers. I have a Sony HU though so can't comment on installing with the factory one.

Wouldn't bother with an underseat sub. Nor would I bother with the compromise of hooking one up to the original CD player.

Decent Alpine headunit, transformed the sound of my old Clio. Then if you still want a sub it's an easy addition.

The fit is amazing, like it was designed with a clio in mind. A sub does add to the music, even a small one like this a great. Sure it wont shake the car to bits but is much better than without one.

Yeah it was exactly what I wanted. Did mean to send you a message saying thanks for the thread actually!

Unfortunately the deal was a one off from the warehouse deals (ie returned/unboxed items). Just got lucky at the time!

For ref. Hathor, Photo attached of where I put my controller. Ran the lead under the carpet, plenty of cable left to pull the controller up to the passenger seat on the rare occasions I want to adjust it.
