Smart wax products?

  Black Gold Trophy
Saw a demo stand at the MPH show in london for a product range called 'Smart wax'. The guy was showing me the product labelled "smart wax" here: http://www.smartwax.com/

Apparently this wax has no abrasives in at all, yet it permanently removes swirls etc, and is used to remove contaminants from the paint etc.

The salesman also said the best way to use their products would be to wash as normal, use their paste wax, then a sealant and then maybe use the smart wax on top.
This baffled the hell out of me as I've always understood that sealants chemically bond to the paint so surely it is best to apply this first, then layer a wax over the top. However the bit that really made me lose faith in any of the products was when the rep said about putting this 'smart wax' over the top of the sealant and wax. I questioned using this product afterwards as surely if it "removes contaminants" it will remove the wax and sealant? The Rep simply said "it sounds like it should, but it doesnt, a lot of people say that"

I also questioned it's abilities to remove swirls permanently etc if it had no abrasives he simply said "I dunno, it's smart"... Like I'm supposed to think "oh it's magic is it? Well I buy some!"

Thoughts?

It's stacked with fillers IIRC - you cannot remove swirls without an abrasive of some kind, nothing is that 'smart'.

Sounds like a clued up fella. Thing is, most people would buy his bullsh*t

I can only think that this 'smart wax' stuff he was demonstrating by removing some spray paint on a scrap panel, is a 'cleaner wax' which I would have thought would remove sealants!

I have used the smartwax, Smartwax a few times the pink bottle I found it gives a really good finish and look as for filling swirls I couldn't tell.

Only things i have ever used is the rim wax which is not very good so i donated it to my dad and the air fresheners were quite good (davidoff ripp off smelt quite nice) A mate of mine who is a valeter swears by all the smart range and i have seen most in action and its just another brand that is cost effective to buy in bulk. Seen him use the pink detailing spray last week as a drying aid on a black amg and ended up with stains everywhere.
