Smashed my wax pot! :(

Hi,

So today I dropped my AF Temptation wax. Not even had a chance to use it yet! The pot has half smashes to pieces and the lid is in 2 bits.

So far I have wrapped it in cling film. Plan is to buy a cheap wax from halfords, scoop it out and bin the wax, then re-pot my wax into it.

Will my wax be alright just cling filmed? Or will it dry out? Not sure if I should transfer into some form of lunch box type pot for a bit. I cant get to Halfords until Wednesday also, working ling shifts mon and tuesday.

Thats a thought! I was just going to bin the wax I would buy. This way I could just buy loads of doritos and munch out!

Why do you think that Kyle? Is so soft and easy yo use and leaves a very glossy finish.

Ryan, provided you keep it airtight it should be OK.

I did this exact thing today with AF Passion.. Must be something in the air lol! I potted mine in a shallow jar but I had to bin about 20% of it as the lip of the glass shattered and I saw a few glass shards. Not ideal.

Thats why I ditched quite a bit of it. Not an ideal situation really.

Funnily enough just binned an old pot I had of wheel sealant, would have happily sent you that to re-home your wax in Ry. However, as I've thrown it away I understand this information is pretty much useless to you

I drove out to a 7/11 tesco express and bought some Tesco Mild Salsa. Binned the Salsa

Will re-home the wax tomorrow

Good idea in my eyes, easy to do with a kettle/bit of steam. No different to you stripping the Pizza Express decals off a delivery bike and putting them on your Pizza Hut bike.
