are clios 1 of those cars that no matter what wipers its fitted with regardless if they are brand new just will always have wipers that smear the screen or are my wipers gubbed.
was lightly raining tonight, stuck my wipers on to clear the rain and they smeared the rain water all over my screen in smeary lines. my last 2 cars (astra and 206) both cleared their screens fine in similar situations hence does it sound like my wipers are gubbed or do clios "just" smear just "cos they do, its just a characteristic"??
cheers.
p.s. I have a 2004 1.2 16v dynamique, which has auto lights, so I'm assuming it should have auto wipers too? should it?
if it should, how do they automatically wipe the screen when raining, i.e. how do I put them in auto mode and how/when do they work??
and whats the bit on the wiper stalk for, the bit further in the stalk than the rear wiper controller, that has a series of dots in a line downwards next to it.
