Smoothing interior

Car  MK1
Right,

ive got my interior out of my 97 mk1 and ive been sanding it down for a while now, the finished effect i want is it to be nice and smooth with no pattern on.

Is there a primer that would be thick enough to make it smooth, or is it just keep sanding?

All suggestions welcome :D

Ben.

Put a layer of primer on it and let it dry see what it feels like after that could alwyas either sand it down again or and a few layers of primer/paint to it

its still best to do as much sanding smooth as possible,as soon as you primer it the imperfections will stand out a mile otherwise

yeah, should i use like different grains ? get lower to get smoother?

I hate the interior of the clio horrible.

its either spray it or put material on it...

can you not get a high build primer for plastics?
you just use normal high build primer but you have to put a plastic additive into it when mixing the hardener. should flat nicly then id sugest flatting with some 320 dry first then some 800 wet and maybe 1000 wet after if you are using water based base coat.
