Tigger Car "Navy" N17 TWO Jul 30, 2006 #4 Not sure why the text was white :S I dont think its because the clutch is too far up/down - its not the gear crunching sound you get if you miss the gear. It occurs most when I'm in town traffic, when I lift the clutch up gently to move the car about 2 feet at a time :sleepy:

cliokiz Car MK1 Clio 16v Jul 31, 2006 #8 One of my valvers used to make that noise. Someone mentioned it might the the 'release bearing', but i have no idea at all. There was certainly nothing wrong with the clutch it was VERY strong and didn't slip at all.

R Rststevo Aug 1, 2006 #9 can anyone help with the small dwarf that seems to have taken up residence in my 2nd gear gate?
