Snap-off steering wheels

Anyone got/had one?

What holds them in place and are they as secure as a normal steering wheel boss when fixed in place?

I might get one on my next car just as an extra deterrent

Ive just refitted mine .....they are very secure, there held on with 3 studs to line it up and 2 big pins through the side.

i had one on my old car and they are good, only trouble with mine was the key lock mechanism broke and then i really did have to snap the steering wheel off

i had 1 on my 2 litre nova cool as fook. and u can scare the crap out of people by taking it off while driving lol

make sure u get the right one for your aftermarket wheel... i recently bought one that didnt fit the momo wheel, jus the mountney and had to sent it back... great idea tho... the fixings are made of aircraft grade aluminium so be strong as fook
